All parents/guardians are REQUIRED to volunteer 2xs per athlete per sport (one person can earn all credits for an athlete/s or multiple adults can). If your athlete plays two sports your volunteer requirement is 4 credits. Two athletes in two sports each = 8 total credits. Credits can be earned at any point during the athletic year, but we HIGHLY recommend earning them ASAP. If a parent/guardian has over 8 credits to fulfill, please reach out to the LAB Board for planning credits. Volunteers get into home games for free as long as they are verified at the ticket table. LAB credits are REQUIRED REGARDLESS if you support LAB through purchasing a membership or not!
LAB uses the “Volunteer Local” platform to organize volunteer sign-ups. We then use the check-in feature from this platform to run LAB volunteer credit reports so volunteers can keep track of credits earned to-date along with verifying credits for scholarship consideration.
