LAB volunteer requirements for all LHS student-athletes and Academic Quiz Team (AQT). THESE VOLUNTEER CREDITS ARE REQUIRED regardless if you support LAB through purchasing a membership or not!
Two (2) volunteer LAB credits per athlete per sport must be earned yearly (9th-12th). For example, if your daughter plays volleyball and your son plays football, your family will need to earn 4 total volunteer credits. Two athletes in two sports each = 8 total credits to earn. Credits can be earned at any point during the athletic year, but we HIGHLY recommend earning them during your athlete’s season. If you have over 8 credits to fulfill for your athlete/s, please reach out to the LAB Board for planning credits. Volunteers get into home games for free as long as they are verified at the ticket table.
LAB uses the “Volunteer Local” platform to organize volunteer sign-ups. We then use the check-in feature from this platform to run LAB volunteer credit reports so volunteers can keep track of credits earned to-date along with verifying credits for scholarship consideration.
